Crossroads assigns Speed Networking appointments by status:
Each manufacturer (pharmaceutical company) will be granted a maximum of three (3) appointments. Up to two (2) manufacturer representatives can participate per appointment, and the representatives can vary per appointment.
All manufacturer representatives must be registered for the conference before May 12, 2023.
Requests to participate in Speed Networking are not permitted after May 12, 2023, and Speed Networking transfers (i.e., transferring your registration to a colleague) are also not permitted after May 12, 2023.
The Speed Networking registration process is new for Crossroads 2023. During the registration process, your company must assign one manufacturer representative to be the Speed Networking Liaison as the main point-of-contact for the Crossroads staff.
The Speed Networking Liaison will be responsible for submitting the Speed Networking Request Form. The Crossroads staff will only accept one Speed Networking Request Form per company, which is due on May 19, 2023.
Crossroads reserves the right to deny appointment requests and refuse access for any reason whatsoever at its absolute and sole discretion. There is also no guarantee that you will be matched with a high-priority Medicaid stakeholders.

What is Speed Networking?
Crossroads facilitates semi-private appointments between manufacturers and Medicaid stakeholders. We arrange the appointments at pre-designated times during Crossroads, which makes it easy for you to meet with stakeholders about drug pipelines, make introductions to new staff, create better understanding of state processes, and to discuss any other pressing topics.
How will Speed Networking appointments be assigned?
Crossroads assigns Speed Networking appointments by status: first sponsorship level (if applicable), followed by the date of registration in chronological order. Each manufacturer (pharmaceutical company) will be granted a maximum of three (3) appointments. Up to two (2) manufacturer representatives can participate per appointment. (Please note that the manufacturer representatives can vary per meeting.) All manufacturer representatives must be registered for the conference.
What if multiple people from my company are attending and participating in Speed Networking?
Each manufacturer (pharmaceutical company) will be granted a maximum of three (3) appointments. Up to two (2) manufacturer representatives can participate per appointment. (Please note that the manufacturer representatives can vary per meeting.) All manufacturer representatives must be registered for the conference. Day and time preferences cannot be accommodated for Speed Networking appointments.
It will be asked during the registration process that your company assigns one manufacturer representative to be the Speed Networking Liaison between the Crossroads staff and your company. If you do not know who your Speed Networking Liaison will be at this time, you can update your registration at a later date. During the Speed Networking interest selection process, which will take place in May 2023, it will be up to the Speed Networking Liaison to collect the top interests across your company’s Crossroads attendees, as the Crossroads staff will only accept one interest form per company.
How do we let you know who will represent our company as the Speed Networking Liaison?
Let us know (name and email) during conference registration who will represent your company as the Speed Networking Liaison. If you are unable to identify who the Speed Networking Liaison will be at the time of registration, your registration can be updated at any time by clicking “Already registered?” at the top of the website.
How does my company prioritize the stakeholders we would like to meet with?
In May 2023, Crossroads staff will send a Speed Networking interest form to your company’s Speed Networking Liaison. The Speed Networking Liaison will submit appointment topics for each of the company’s requested appointments, along with naming the manufacturer representatives for each meeting.
How many appointments will I be able to attend?
Each company will have the opportunity to meet with a maximum of three (3) Medicaid stakeholders. Up to two (2) manufacturer attendees are allowed per Speed Networking appointment.
How long will each Speed Networking appointment last?
At Crossroads 2018 and 2021, Speed Networking appointments were 12 minutes, allowing for a 3-minute break in-between. Similar timing will be used at Crossroads 2023 and will be finalized prior to the conference.
The South Carolina Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education credits will be available to participants who fully attend the program and then complete an online educational activity evaluation. A unique code given at each activity must be provided in the evaluation to receive credit. Grievances regarding the education program must be submitted in writing to the SCPhA ACPE Administrator immediately following the program.
