Sophie Thomas

Sophie Thomas, MPH, is an experienced state regulator with expertise in health policy, regulatory compliance, and health plan operations in Colorado’s Medicaid program. She is passionate about creating a healthcare system that delivers the right care, at the right time for all Coloradans, particularly ensuring access to affordable healthcare and prescription drugs. Currently, Sophie is the Director of Prescription Drug Affordability and PBM Enforcement Programs at the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Insurance. As a leader in implementing new PBM requirements and ensuring compliance with state laws, Sophie works to create a system that responds to emerging issues, and strives to resolve barriers for Coloradans across all income levels.
