Kristen Muncy MHA

Kristen Muncy is the Director of Provider Strategy and Education with Nimitt Consulting, Inc., a boutique consulting firm focused on coverage, coding and reimbursement issues related to cell and gene therapies. At Nimitt, she applies her deep experience in revenue cycle, clinical operations, and managed care contracting, with a specialized focus on solid organ transplant, stem cell transplant, and cell therapy. She provides strategic advisory services, education, and data-driven advocacy to improve health care compliance and reimbursement. Ms. Muncy partners with stem cell transplant and cell therapy programs nationwide to optimize reimbursement by streamlining revenue cycle workflows and strengthening managed care contracts.

Prior to joining Nimitt, Ms. Muncy held a variety of positions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a Lead Payer Contract Manager, she successfully negotiated agreements with government payers across the entire health system and secured contracts with all payers for transplant programs. A firm believer in the “no margin, no mission” philosophy, Ms. Muncy thrives on analyzing, diagnosing, and uncovering opportunities to enhance providers’ financial performance and sustainability.
