Medicaid 101 is an extensive overview of Medicaid history, requirements, and recent policy/legislative changes impacting Medicaid. Topics will include Fee for Service, Managed Medicaid, Puerto Rico Medicaid, Preferred Drug Lists, Statewide PDLs, Medicaid Purchasing Pools, Dual Eligibility, and Supplemental Rebate Bid Mechanics.

A continuing education unit (CEU) for the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) will be provided for this session.

The South Carolina Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education credits will be available to participants who fully attend the program and then complete an online educational activity evaluation.
