Wendi Powell, PharmD, is the Director of Clinical Pharmacy at MDwise, Inc. Wendi is a strategic clinical leader with broad experience across regional/national Commercial and Government Health Plans, Health Systems, and Pharmacy Benefit Managers. She is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven health care professional, with experience in various pharmacy practice areas including retail pharmacy, health system pharmacy, drug information, and managed care as well as administrative and organizational leadership.
Wendi holds expertise in clinical decision making, utilization management, quality improvement, and cost-containment initiatives. She has strong communication skills as demonstrated in formal presentations, committee involvement, written proposals, and active participation in multidisciplinary collaborative workgroups. Wendi also has over 20 years of experience in teaching/mentoring pharmacy students at Butler University and Purdue University Colleges of Pharmacy, both as a clerkship preceptor as well as a course lecturer.

The South Carolina Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education credits will be available to participants who fully attend the program and then complete an online educational activity evaluation. A unique code given at each activity must be provided in the evaluation to receive credit. Grievances regarding the education program must be submitted in writing to the SCPhA ACPE Administrator immediately following the program.
