Sarah Klein has served as the CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado since 2017. The Foundation represents the nearly 60,000 people living with epilepsy in the state of Colorado and provides a comprehensive array of programs and services to people living with epilepsy as well as their family members, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Under Sarah’s leadership, the Foundation has expanded its programming to include a dedicated mental health program manager, offered a first-ever symposium on Cannabis and Epilepsy, hired a bilingual program manager to ensure accessibility to the Spanish-speaking community, and expanded outreach to engage new healthcare professionals, donors, and clients.
Prior to this role, she served in a variety of national strategic fundraising positions at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and was involved in community engagement at the American Red Cross. Throughout her career, Sarah has been passionate about the power of personal relationships to change the world.
Sarah earned bachelor’s degrees in English and Theology from Wheaton College, and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Chicago. She volunteers with the Colorado Mountain Bike Association and Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado.
