Brad is a biopharmaceutical and managed care leader with 27 years of experience. Previously, he was the Senior Director of Government Accounts at Pear Therapeutics. Prior to Pear Therapeutics, he was the Director of Government Account at Global Blood Therapeutics. He was also previously a National Account Executive with Actelion Pharmaceuticals, a Janssen Pharmaceutical Company of Johnson & Johnson, and was responsible for FFS Medicaid, VA/DoD, as well as several commercial/Med D account relationships.
Prior to Actelion, Brad worked at both large and small companies, including GSK and InterMune. During that time, he earned positions of increasing responsibility within sales and market access opportunities. Burris received his BSBA from Appalachian State University and MBA/MHA degrees from Pfeiffer University. He is married (to a pharmacist) and enjoys spending time with family. While golf and travel are high on the list of priorities, most of their time away from work is spent with two energetic sons in the Raleigh, N.C. area.
The South Carolina Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Continuing education credits will be available to participants who fully attend the program and then complete an online educational activity evaluation. A unique code given at each activity must be provided in the evaluation to receive credit. Grievances regarding the education program must be submitted in writing to the SCPhA ACPE Administrator immediately following the program.
